Every step can feel heavier when you’re carrying invisible struggles. On World Suicide Prevention Day, we want to remind our community that running isn’t just about fitness—it can also be about healing and connection.
World Suicide Prevention Day is an important day for all of us, as it serves as a reminder that mental health is just as crucial as physical health. At Runday, we believe that running and community can be powerful tools in preventing isolation, building connections, and promoting mental health.

Why is running more than just movement?
1. Running as support for your mind.
When we run, our bodies produce endorphins – the hormones of happiness. This is a natural way to reduce stress and anxiety levels. The rhythmic steps, fresh air, and focus on the process allow us to momentarily distract ourselves from problems and give our minds a "break."
2. A community that understands and accepts.
When life feels overwhelming, knowing that others are by your side can make all the difference. Runday is a safe space where there is no competition, only mutual support. Here, you will always find someone who will listen, support you with a smile, or simply run alongside you. Our community is built on acceptance, and you will never be left alone. This is incredibly valuable.
3. Small victories.
Crossing the Runday finish line is always a small but significant victory. It reminds you that you are strong and capable of overcoming difficulties. This sense of personal strength can become a powerful motivation in facing any challenges.
Most of all, we want you to remember: you are not alone.
We want to remind you that if you or your loved ones need help, do not hesitate to seek it. This is a sign of strength, not weakness.
